MEDIA STRATEGIES AND CAMPAIGNS

Aimed at organisations of all sizes who want to use the media in a positive way to help them achieve their aims whether social or commercial - to sell more widgets or make the world a better place.

CONTENT

We tend to run this workshop only on an in-house basis given that different organisations have such different needs. That said, when there's sufficient interest we do run them publicly so add you name to the waitlist if you'd like this to happen.

We break the business of media management into 10 easy-to-follow steps:

  1. Identify your AIM
  2. Break it into manageable and measurable OBJECTIVES
  3. Identify the TARGET AUDIENCES you need to achieve those objectives
  4. RESEARCH your target so you know how best to achieve the behavioural change you need to attain your objectives
  5. Match the target audiences to TARGET MEDIA
  6. Devise KEY MESSAGES that work for your audience and media targets.
  7. REFRAME those key messages into credible and quotable soundbites.
  8. Design CAMPAIGN stories and events that provide a vehicle for your key messages
  9. Draw up a TIMETABLE based on priorities and resources
  10. MONITOR and EVALUATE your campaign so you can MODIFY them for outcomes not output.

FACILITATOR

Richard Uridge has first hand experience of media campaigns - he helped run Oxfam's most successful ever regional fund-raising campaign to help victims of the Rwandan genocide. With an initial target of £50,000 it quickly reached more than £1 million thanks to his inside knowledge of the media. Since then he's helped hundreds of charities in their media campaigns and strategies. Please get in touch to see how Richard can help you achieve your aims and objectives through the media.

Register your interest in a mixed group session

We understand individuals and small businesses may not have the resources to book an exclusive group or one-to-one session, so we operate a wait list system. Give us you contact details and when enough people have registered their interest we'll be in touch to organise a date. For most sessions you'll be alongside (virtually that is) no more than five other trainees.

Book an exclusive group session

If you're ready to order a group session for you and your colleagues (think in-house but online) and you want to use our secure, online booking system then click on the order in-house button below. You'll get a chance to let us know your preferred date at the next step.

Price From £999 per session

Ask about in-house options

If you have more than a few staff to train, want to tailor the content to your exact organisational needs, prefer the privacy of one-to-one training, or simply want the flexibility of choosing a date and, for our face-to-face workshops, venue that suits you, then this is a great and, in most cases, cost-effective alternative to our public sessions.

Price From £999 per day (or per hour)*

* Please note the rate depends on workshop type and duration. You may pay even less than the price shown for shorter sessions. MEDIA STRATEGIES AND CAMPAIGNS
