We understand individuals and small businesses may not have the resources to book an exclusive group or one-to-one session, so we operate a wait list system. Give us you contact details and when enough people have registered their interest we'll be in touch to organise a date. For most sessions you'll be alongside (virtually that is) no more than five other trainees.
This is the way most organisations choose to work with us. You get to choose the workshop, nominate who you want to sit the session, fix a time and date that suits everyone and decide whether you want online or in-person delivery. We do the rest – even down to tweaking the training to match your specific needs. All we need is a bit of information about you so click the organise button to get the ball rolling.

AIMED AT
Anybody - individuals or organisations, profit or not-for-profit - who fancies shooting, editing and posting videos to the web either via their own website or video sharing sites like YouTube.
PLEASE NOTE
We highly recommend that you complete our podcast training course first, as we concentrate on video productions skills only and not on the other elements of podcasting which we focus on in our podcasting workshop.
CONTENT
Posting video to your website, starting a YouTube channel or adding a visual dimension to your podcasts are all great ways of moving up the Google rankings and attracting more visitors. And because pictures very often help explain things that words alone can struggle to do, video's a wonderful way of communicating whether for social, commercial or instructional reasons. But doing it right isn't easy. There's a bewildering array of both hardware and software on offer. What camera, what microphone, what tripod, what lights.... the unsuspecting would-be videographer can easily waste a lot of money. And pointing your home video camera at the kids on holiday isn't going to equip you with all of the skills and knowledge needed to devise, shoot and edit a great movie. But this workshop will get you going in the right direction. You'll get heaps of practical help and advice - both technical and editorial - from an experienced video producer, director and editor. You'll learn about the value of story-boarding and get to shoot and edit your own sequence. So set the Cecil B De Mille in you free and book a place today.
WORKSHOP FACILITATOR
Your facilitator will be the BBC broadcaster, Richard Uridge. With a wealth of experience in presentation, journalism, production & direction, training & consultancy, Richard has been leading our Media and Communication workshops for the past 15 years. Should you wish to find out more about Richard, ACM Training's clients, our training programmes or productions, please return to the home page of our website, to make your selection.
"An excellent training session, very well run and very engaging. I would go as far as to say probably the best training session I have ever been on."
