AIMED AT

This is an advanced training skills workshop and is aimed at those who are responsible for planning organisational training programmes, conducting training needs analysis or who might also manage other trainers. We assume that anyone booking this workshop will have substantial experience in training preparation and delivery and be looking to develop their training management skills.

OBJECTIVES

By the end of this workshop, through practical sessions and individual delivery of a training session, each delegate should be able to demonstrate a solid understanding and appreciation of the following:

 

             The different types of TNA, and which is best for your organisation

             The nature of the problem being addressed by training needs analysis

             How training needs analyses have been identified in the past and with what results?

             What is the budget for training needs analysis?

             How is training needs analysis perceived in the organisation?

             Who is available to help conduct the training needs analysis?

             What are the time frames for completing the training needs analysis exercise?

             What will be the measure of a successful training needs analysis report?

             TNA self assessment forms

             Devising role assessments, individual training plans and the overall corporate training plan
